Pleasanton police mentioned they arrested Kennedy Stith, 27, on Sept. 12, amid an investigation into the dying of her boyfriend Edevion White, 32, who was discovered lifeless on the 5700 block of Owens Drive on Could 1, 2023.
In an announcement, authorities mentioned the 27-year-old initially lied about her boyfriend’s dying, when she mentioned two males in ski masks had been accountable. She alleged the pair broke into their condominium and killed him, KTVU reported.

On Friday, Pleasanton police arrested Stith on suspicion of homicide and mentioned she made up the story of the house invasion.
In line with the Pleasanton police, Stith was “manipulative, abusive, and controlling,” KTVU reported. Stith allegedly compelled her boyfriend to promote medication to pay payments, per the report.
